As Arthur Passes, Stay Out of the Ocean

Friday, July 04, 2014

As the weather returns to normal, Virginia Beach urges beachgoers to stay out of the ocean today. The surf is still dangerous.

Lifeguards will staff the beaches and monitor conditions at the resort, Croatan and Sandbridge. Red flags will caution beachgoers to avoid the ocean. Virginia Beach Emergency Medical Services urges extra caution today and possibly tomorrow.
