(Virginia Beach, Va., October 22, 2013) – Today, more than 600 visitors will arrive in 17 motorcoaches at the Virginia Beach oceanfront for the brand new, three-day “USO Show Tribute – Music of WWII and Korea” group tour package. This Signature Tour was created with the 2013 U.S. Tours/Travel Alliance Partners (TAP), and features a tribute to USO shows of years gone by while honoring those who entertained America’s military in warzones around the world. More than 800 room nights have been booked at seven Virginia Beach hotels and an estimated $600,000 in direct spending is expected to be generated.

This one-of-a-kind event combining both nostalgic and patriotic music shows of the 1940s, ’50s and ’60s will bring visitors from as far as California. In just two years, this package has been met with such high demand that an encore event for Oct. 14 to 17, 2014 has been secured by the Virginia Beach CVB and bookings are already taking place.
