Come discover how colonists kept cool in the summer heat of the 18th century without the aid of air-conditioning, shorts and T-shirts.  Experiment with some cooling remedies and try your hand at Thomas Jefferson’s idea for “chilling out!”  The temperature drops as you take to the high seas with the Mariner to learn about predicting weather.  Learn why shooting off cannons could help bring on the rain — but be prepared to cover your ears when the Mariner fires the cannon!
