Add a challenge to your fitness regime with PILOXING®, a fitness class which blends the power, speed and agility of boxing with the sculpting and flexibility of standing Pilates. Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation is offering a free PILOXING® launch party 4:20 pm, Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Bayside Recreation Center, located at 4500 First Court Road.

Come to the free PILOXING® launch party ready to work out! Since a Virginia Beach Recreation Center membership is not required, the only thing you’ll need to bring is a water bottle. PILOXING® incorporates barefoot training, but you may wear dance or athletic shoes if you prefer.

PILOXING® was created by Swedish dancer and celebrity trainer Viveca Jensen. Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation is the first organization to offer PILOXING® in the area. For more information about Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation free PILOXING® workshop, please contact Diane Benner, Fitness Unit Supervisor, at (757) 385-0406 or dbenner@VBgov.com.
