Mayor Sessoms to Honor Water-Wise Students

An official awards ceremony will be held this week to honor the 13 winners of Virginia Beach Public Utilities' annual Water Awareness Calendar Contest.

Each year, Virginia Beach elementary school students submit artwork depicting ways they use water wisely.  This year's contest winners, selected from various schools across the city, will have their artwork prominently featured throughout the Public Utilities 2014 Water Awareness Calendar and be presented an award certificate by Mayor William D. Sessoms, Jr. at this week's ceremony.
