Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation’s after school participants have spent months developing and fine tuning their dance routines -- all for the Sound of Fun: Love FANatik dance showcase to be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Salem Middle School, 2380 Lynnhaven Parkway. Doors open at 12:15 p.m

This 90-minute show will feature 180 performers who attend 13 of Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation’s after school care programs. Youth will be dancing routines to songs that explore the passion, music and movement from well-known pop artists like Katy Perry, Jody Watley, and Destiny’s Child. Be sure to stay after the tribute to mingle with the performers, take photos, see displays of artwork, and enjoy light refreshments.
