Kids Arts Palooza Set for Sunday, March 25

Celebrate the arts with the whole family!  Join the fun as the City of Virginia Beach Arts and Humanities Commission and the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts presents the annual Kids Arts Palooza on Sunday, March 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts.  Admission is free and open to the public.

Krendl & Company’s Grand Illusion Show will take the Main Stage at 2:30 and 4 p.m. The show is suitable for children of all ages and is sure to entertain.

Visitors will delight in the region’s only arts-focused event featuring more than 25 interactive stations, ranging from an instrument petting zoo to cupcake decorating. Other activities will include live entertainment, costume characters, face painting, balloon animals and make-‘n’-take crafts. Kids Arts Palooza gives local children and their families the opportunity to interact with various forms of the arts in a relaxed, fun and inquisitive environment.

Tickets will be available for face painting and balloon animals. All proceeds and donations benefit the Sandler Center Foundation’s ACCESS the ARTS program.

ABOUT ACCESS the ARTS: The Sandler Center Foundation’s innovative program reaches underserved students in Title 1 schools throughout Hampton Roads, including 16 in Virginia Beach. Funding provided by this program assists Title 1 schools with the costs of arts education programming at the Sandler Center.  Funding is provided by individuals, corporations, community organizations and grants.
