Envision Virginia Beach 2040 Committee to Meet Jan. 20

Envision Virginia Beach 2040, a citizens group appointed by the City Council, will meet Friday, Jan. 20, from 9 to11 a.m. at the Strategic Growth Area Office in Town Center, 222 Central Park Ave., Armada Hoffler Building, Suite 1050.  David Trimmer, director of the city’s Agriculture Department, and Dr. Terance Rephann, regional economist, will discuss agriculture and rural issues for the future of Virginia Beach and the region.

 

The City Council appointed Envision Virginia Beach 2040 to research trends and to visualize where the city will be in 30 years. John Malbon and Gary McCollum are co-chairmen.
