Newly-Appointed Energy Advisory Committee to Hold Inaugural Meeting Wednesday, May 25

The newly-appointed Energy Advisory Committee will hold its inaugural meeting Wednesday, May 25, at 5:30 p.m. in the Department of Economic Development conference room, 10th floor of the Armada Hoffler Building at Town Center, 222 Central Park Ave., Suite 1000.


The committee was appointed by the City Council and will advise the council on upcoming energy issues. The agenda for the meeting will include the following:

  • Mayor’s Alternative Energy Task Force report briefing
  • Review of the committee’s requirements, role and responsibilities
  • Initial discussions of mission and work program

The meeting will be open to the public. Attendees are invited to provide comment toward the end of the meeting, after the committee’s deliberations.
