It’s The Big Reveal! Watch & Hear Hip Hop 2014 Performers Sing and Dance

Tuesday, August 05, 2014

Throughout the summer, 13 teens have undergone a life-changing process. With a love for hip hop music as their motivation, they have delved into the true hip hop culture and the five elements of which it is comprised: emceeing, DJ-ing, B-boying, graffiti, and knowledge. They have even collectively written and recorded a song to represent the challenges of their generation that will be played on 103 Jamz.

Join us at The Big Reveal, 6:30 pm, Thursday, August 14, 2014 in the theater at Kempsville Recreation Center, 800 Monmouth Lane in Virginia Beach. Teens will show off the skills they learned and perform their song “Knockout.” Hear the song before it’s played on 103 Jamz, and witness these talented teens emerge as confident leaders!

Hip Hop 2014: And the Youth Will Lead Us is possible through the generous support of Clever Communities in Action, Universal Zulu Nation Chapter 30, Clear Channel’s 103 Jamz, Mr. Dear Photography and K. Jeanette Photography.
