2014 SK8R Bash Competitor Applications Now Available

Interested in showcasing your skateboarding skills for prizes? Submit your application by October 3, 2014

(Virginia Beach, VA) – Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation is looking for skateboarders to participate in this year’s competition at the 2014 SK8R Bash on Saturday, October 18 at the City’s newest skateboarding facility: Williams Farm Skate Park (5269 Learning Circle).

 

Williams Farm Skate Park is a 25,000 square foot, concrete skate park that features a tiered bowl, flow park and urban skate plaza. Competition includes beginner, intermediate and advanced heats in flow, street and bowl. Beginner competition is restricted to youth age 14 & under; intermediate and advanced levels are open to all ages. Competition applications are available at www.VBgov.com/sk8rbash. Deadline to submit applications is October 3, 2014.

 

The Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation 2014 SK8R Bash is free and open to the public, beginning at 10 am and ending at 5 pm on Saturday, October 18. Live music, interactive happenings and an open street course for non-competitors will be additional event attractions.
