(Virginia Beach, VA) – Significant renovations will take place at Marshview Park (located at 141 Marshview Drive) which includes an asphalt path, pedestrian bridges, and a small parking lot. Construction is scheduled to begin the week of June 2, 2014.

The park will remain open for public use during the renovations; however, there will be periods of time during construction when certain areas will be closed for construction and public safety.

The adjacent parking lot at Salt Marsh Point Neighborhood Park will also be closed during construction to accommodate large equipment.

Work is expected for completion in late fall, weather permitting. For additional information, visit www.VBgov.com/marshviewpark or contact Mike Moore in Parks & Natural Areas at (757) 385-0400 or Greg Newman in Planning, Design & Development at (757) 385-1100.
