Earth Day Celebration at Mount Trashmore Park POSTPONED due to forecasted inclement weather

Event originally scheduled for Saturday, April 20 will be held Sunday, April 21 from 11am – 4pm

Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation has postponed the 2013 Earth Day Celebration at Mount Trashmore Park originally scheduled for Saturday, April 20 due to forecasted inclement weather. The event will be held on Sunday, April 21 from 11am – 4pm.

 

The AAA Recycling Zone will also be postponed to Sunday, which includes electronics recycling, child safety seat recycling, car battery round up, household hazardous waste disposal and rain barrel and composter sales that will take place from 9 am – 4pm in Parking Lot 1 at Mount Trashmore Park, located near the YMCA (please enter from South Blvd.).
