2013 Winter Wildlife Festival Keynote Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

Opening Keynote with Julie Zickefoose will take place Sunday, January 27 at 5 pm

The 2013 Winter Wildlife Festival Keynote originally scheduled for Friday, January 25 has been postponed due to inclement weather.

 

Keynote speaker Julie Zickefoose is rescheduled to 5 pm on Sunday, January 27 at Kempsville Recreation Center (800 Monmouth Lane). This event is free and open to the public; however, registration is required by calling 385-0426, or emailing kwhanger@VBgov.com. All current participant reservations do not need to re-register.

 

Julie Zickefoose is a writer and illustrator for Bird Watcher’s Digest, former National Public Radio Commentator and author of The Bluebird Effect: Uncommon Bonds with Common Birds, which was recently selected as media powerhouse Oprah Winfrey’s Book of the Week. Zickefoose will also be available after the keynote for a book sale and signing.
