Municipal Parking Lots & GaragesThe city operates three municipal parking lots and three garages at the oceanfront. The rates are $2/hour at all locations except during high demand times and special events. Find Peak Parking Pricing rates here. Municipal surface lots and meters except for 24 1/2 street & 300 block of 25th street are free during the off-season which begins November 1st through March 31st. There is no overnight parking offered during the off-season at the surface lots and meters. All locations and meters accept major credit cards, text-to-pay, and other mobile payment options.
Virginia Beach Resident $3 rate is offered after 5:00pm at (804) 625-4265 at the surface lots.
Hours for certain lots may vary during large special events.
Off-Season Parking is November 1st - March 31st. Parking is free at all three lots except for oversized vehicles in 4th street lot.
Pay by phone for on-street parking provided by GoPassport. Vehicles that do not pay the meter or mobile app will be ticketed April 1st - October 31st. Any vehicle with expired meter or mobile payment times will be ticketed.
