Levels of Play
-
Competitive (Comp): consists of teams with experience playing softball. Playoffs are offered in each league, and a 1+1HR limit is used (i.e. a team cannot hit its 2nd home run until the opposing team has hit 1).
-
Recreational (Rec): consists of teams with minimal experience playing softball. This league is recreation focused where teams are playing as a social/work/family event. Playoffs are not offered, and a 0HR limit is used (i.e. a home run is an out).
NOTE: Any player on a Recreational league roster is ineligible to be on a Competitive league roster and any player on a Competitive league roster is ineligible to be on a Recreational league roster. A player may participate on multiple Competitive league teams or multiple Recreational league teams during regular season play (only) as long as:
- The teams are not in leagues which play on the same night
- The player(s) have enrolled or signed each team’s roster
FOR SPRING AND FALL 2022: For individual players appearing on multiple regular-season rosters: if more than one of their teams qualify for Championship Play (playoffs), they must choose
ONE team to participate with prior to their first game, and for the duration of the playoffs.
FOR SPRING AND FALL 2022: Top two (2) high division teams from each night of play (men’s and coed) will advance to a high-level championship. Top two (2) low/mid-division teams from each night of play (men’s and coed) will advance to a low-level championship.
