Welcome to the Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Virtual Rec Center! Our doors may be closed, but we still want to guide your day-to-day routine with family fun, fitness tips and more. Find cool and interactive resources for all ages, and continue to check back for more as we update our virtual offerings in the coming weeks.
Currently, recreation centers are closed through June 10, 2020, and reopening will continue to be reassessed as the State allows. As of May 22, 2020, dog parks, skate parks and tennis/pickleball courts are open. Additional park amenities, as outlined in our FAQ, remain closed at this time. Questions? Does your neighborhood rock?  Join Barks & Rex for a social distance driveway dance party and food drive.  We bring the music, you bring the moves!  Leave a food donation by your mailbox for the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. If you would like Barks & Rex to visit your neighborhood, register online today! *Please provide one point of contact to coordinate for your neighborhood.

Social Club Events

Join the virtual “Social Club” each Friday in May to connect with your peers. Strengthen your social skills while making new friends and catching up with old ones about recent activities, events, and how to cope during the COVID outbreak. Zoom video conference app is required. Register Online
