Meet Your Coaches

Jasmine Jolley
Hello! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York where I began competitively swimming at the age of 6. I've been on several swim teams including USA, YMCA, and city recreational. Throughout my career I volunteered to coach at my previous teams and used my swimming skills to become a lifeguard for the NYC Parks Department. I also swam for my high school in the PSAL where I was a captain and ranked top 10 in the city. I began teaching swimming, all ages and skill levels, after high school for a private swim company in Manhattan. About 2 years ago I moved to Virginia Beach and started working for the city as both a lifeguard and instructor. I am currently working on getting into the Physical Therapy Assistant program at TCC. In my free time I like to read and take my dog to the beach! I've always been passionate about swimming and am very excited to have the opportunity to coach!!

Ashleigh Strimback
Ashleigh is a native of Virginia Beach where she swam competitively for 12 years. This is her second year coaching with our league. Ashleigh attended ODU as a communications major. Outside of swimming, she enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children. Her advice to Swim League participants is to always do your best!

Julia Manthey
Julia grew up in Virginia Beach and first started swimming for the Green Run Gators. She swam competitively from 8th grade through college at Virginia Tech. She is a recent graduate who majored in Human Development.  Outside of swimming, Julia enjoys reading, playing volleyball, hiking, photography and art.
