Pickleball Camp: Bow Creek

Learn the basic rules and techniques of the popular sport of Pickleball. This will be a week of exclusive gym time for your child to be actively engaged in learning this sport and other fun activities.
Junior Golf Camp: Kempsville

Description: Ages 7-12
Learn the fundamentals of golf - swing, pitching, chipping, and putting in a fun environment. Each day is filled with practice, games, and a little competition. Camp includes range balls, clubs if needed, awards, and a completion certificate. A Recreation Center membership is not required. Athletic clothing, sun protection, and closed-toe athletic footwear are required. Bring a water bottle and snack each day. Non-perishable and peanut-free snacks are highly recommended.

Description: Ages 6 -12
Enhance your basketball skills while practicing shooting, ball handling, defense, footwork, rebounding, and other related drills in a fun play-to-learn environment. The camp is conducted by Mark Butts, former head coach for the First Colonial Boys Basketball Team. Athletic clothing and closed-toe athletic footwear are required. Bring a water bottle and snack each day. Non-perishable and peanut-free snacks are highly recommended.
Soccer Camp: Princess Anne

Description: Ages 8 -12
This camp will test footwork, speed, ball-handling, and vision of the field. The camp is held on the Strawbridge Elementary School field with Coach Isaac Beard. In the event of inclement weather, the camp will be move to gym 1 of the Princess Anne Recreation Center. A Recreation Center membership is not required. Athletic clothing, sun protection, closed-toe athletic footwear, and towel required. Bring a labeled water bottle and a non-perishable snack each day. Peanut-free snacks are highly recommended.
Tennis Camps: Great Neck

& Aug 2 - 6 Ages 11-14
Description: This USTA-sponsored tennis camp will help new, and novice participants develop tennis fundamentals (e.g. groundstrokes, volley, serve) through a fun play-to-learn style of learning. Practice match play and learn sportsmanship and game rules. Different court sizes and modified tennis equipment help youth to rally in no time. Notes: Racquets provided, but you may bring your own. Camps are held on the Cox High School courts. In the event of inclement weather, we will move inside the Great Neck Community Recreation Center. A Recreation Center membership is not required. Athletic clothing, sun protection, and closed-toe athletic footwear and towel required. Bring a water bottle and snack each day. Non-perishable and peanut-free is highly recommended.

Participants will be introduced to a variety of sports, including basketball, pickleball, volleyball, and more. We will bring back the old school sports like four square and tetherball. Spend the week learning traditional Japanese Martial Arts with an emphasis on Karate-do'. Participants will spend the morning with an experienced Martial Arts Instructor to develop discipline, confidence, and knowledge to achieve the title of level 1 white belt by Friday. We will break up the day with activities in the gym, pool, and activity room. Comfortable clothing, closed-toe athletic footwear, and proper swimwear required. Rock Wall Camp: Seatack

Description: Ages 6-12
Learn how to climb Seatack's 24ft rock wall through instructional activities, challenges, and games. By the end of the week, any participant will be able to take these skills and confidently take on the challenge of other rock walls. We will break up the day with other activities in the gym, pool, and activity room. Comfortable clothing, closed-toe athletic footwear, and proper swimwear are required.
