Bayville Farms Park

Bayville Farms Park is a 68-acre park established in 1978 through the cooperative efforts of the City of Virginia Beach, the National Park Service, and Virginia's Department of Conservation and Recreation. Of special interest is the 18-hole disc golf course, which was the first of its kind in Virginia Beach.​
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:  Bayville Farms Park office and restroom are currently being replaced - construction will begin December 2022 and is projected to be completed by April 2023.  Click here for more details. Below are some activities that may be impacted during this project: 
  • The ballfields will be closed for the duration of this project.
  • The tennis courts, basketball court and dog parks will be closed temporarily due to the installation of the utilities. Once this is completed we will evaluate if and when we will reopen these activity areas.
  • The parking lot next to the building will be closed off from the public and used for staging only.

​​​​​An 18-hole disc golf course meanders through the park with baskets positioned throughout. There is no charge to use the disc golf course unless you are hosting a​ tournament (tournament fee is $75).​​

*April - November: Lighted amenities (basketball court, tennis courts and softball fields) open until 11 p.m. The 11 p.m. closing time does not apply to picnic shelter reservations. Shelters are for day use only.

  • Park operating hours indicate the times when facility parking lot gates, restrooms, offices, and other park amenities are opened and closed daily. All times are subject to change without notice or as posted and are dependent on scheduled special events and rentals at the facility.
  • All unstaffed community and neighborhood parks are available for use from sunrise to sunset daily. All day-use parks are posted as no trespassing after dark.
  • Parks and park facilities with lighted amenities will stay open until 11:00 p.m. between April 1 and November 30 to support city-sponsored leagues and programs as well as scheduled events and rentals.​​​​
