A MESSAGE FROM OUR BOARD CHAIR 

In 2016, the Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation Foundation took a hard look at its mission and goals. During that review, we revised our mission to become “Making a Great Community Better.” We then reinvested our fundraising efforts to focus on visionary projects that would make a lasting impact on Virginia Beach. These include projects like a challenger field and the second phase of Kids Cove at Mount Trashmore Park. Each of these efforts are focused on helping to achieve the Parks & Recreation goals to protect the environment, promote healthy lifestyles and ensure accessibility for all residents. We hope you will support us in these endeavors, as we seek to improve our City today and for future generations to come.
