Summer Reading Challenge offers age-specific goals, incentives and creative activitie to encourage children and families to read during the summer months.

‭(Hidden)‬ Read to Me (birth-age 5)

Read together with your little one this summer!

Register to receive a sticker, crayons (while supplies last) and a log you can print for recording the books you read. Read 20 books together and your child will receive a book and a coupon for a free treat.

Prize pickup has been extended! Please pick up prizes at any VBPL location through August 20 at 5 p.m.

‭(Hidden)‬ Youth (ages 5-12)

Unlock virtual badges by logging reading and completing activities, then place the corresponding sticker in your Badge Book (free at registration while supplies last). Log 1,000 minutes of reading and receive a book and a coupon for a free treat.

‭(Hidden)‬ Camp Evergreen (teens & adults)

Participate in a variety of fun activities for a chance to win prizes during Camp Evergreen. There is something for everyone to enjoy, including crafts, outdoor activities and online library resources. The only requirement is to have fun!
