Let's hear it for the teens!

October is TeenTober at VBPL, a month-long celebration of teens and teen resources at the library. Programs just for teens include gaming, anime, art projects, movies, escape rooms and more. The fun wraps up with the after-hours carnival themed Teen Lock-In on Oct. 28 at Central Library with games, snacks, a costume contest and time to spend with friends and meet new ones. Registration is required. VBPL offers support for teens and their families with a wealth of information available on relationships, mental and physical health, substance abuse, bullying and other tough issues. Make sure your voice is heard in November

Did you know you can register to vote at any VBPL branch? The next scheduled election in Virginia Beach is the Tuesday, Nov. 8 General and Special Elections. The deadline to register to vote in the November election is Monday, Oct. 17. To verify your voter status, find your polling location, sample ballot guides and more, see www.VBgov.com/voter.
