    • Digital resources: JobNow and VetNow can assist with job searches, coaching and resume building. Peterson's Career Prep offers career path exploration and researches more than 1,000 accredited colleges, universities and trade schools.
    • Career Coaching: Volunteers are available at Central Library to help with resume writing, online job applications and more. Call 757-385-0150 to make an appointment.

Earn a high school diploma

    • Career Online High School is a free online high school diploma and career certification program for qualified adult students with a VBPL account. Certifications are available in fields like homeland security, hospitality, office management, childcare and education, and more.

Learn a new skill

Your VBPL account gives you free access to many online learning platforms, all available 24/7!

    • LinkedIn Learning: over 16,000 courses, with more than 60 new courses added each week
