Earn $14.50-$18 an hour!
Census recruitment adGet paid for helping our community as a census worker during the 2020 Census. The Census is a count of every single person living in the United States as of April 1, 2020.

It is very important that every single person living in Virginia Beach be counted when Census packets are mailed on April 1 so that our city gets its fair share of nearly $800 billion in federal dollars for things like roads, hospitals, schools, social services and more. Our community loses about $2,000 for every person that is not counted every year for the next 10 years.

You can help first by completing your Census and encouraging your friends and neighbors to do the same. But we also need temporary workers to help make sure that everyone gets counted.

Complete just one application and you can be considered for several positions with the U.S. Census Bureau, including census taker, recruiting assistant, office clerk and supervisory staff.

Census workers in Virginia Beach will earn between $14.50 and $18 per hour.
