- develops communication strategies and creates campaigns to achieve established objectives
- oversees Joint Information Center during crises and severe weather events
- promotes community awareness of and engagement in municipal government through meetings, events, surveys and other activities
- organizes special events
- produces videos and cablecasts live meetings
- maintains content on City's website and social media sites
- manages media inquiries
- writes speeches, articles, newsletters, editorials, news releases, reports and presentations
- designs logos, brochures, infographics and other creative collateral
