Communications Office

The Communications Office is a full-service agency providing strategic and tactical communication solutions for citywide and department-level initiatives.

  • develops communication strategies​ and creates campaigns to achieve established objectives
  • oversees Joint Information Center during crises and severe weather events
  • promotes community awareness of and engagement in municipal government through meetings, events, surveys and other activities
  • organizes special events
  • produces videos and cablecasts live meetings
  • maintains content on City's website and social media sites
  • manages media inquiries
  • writes speeches, articles, newsletters, editorials, news releases, reports and presentations
  • designs logos, brochures, infographics and other creative collateral​
