4-H offers a variety of camps to youth and teens as well as conferences designed for volunteers and 4-H alumni.

​​4-H Conferences are held periodically for adult volunteers and 4-H alumni to attend specific 4-H training and workshops.  Upcoming conference registration information will be posted as it becomes available.

 Camp Millionaire

​​Camp Millionaire uses an innovative day camp format to provide rising 7th and 8th graders with the financial decision-making tools they need to achieve financial independence.  Through fun-filled games, activities, group exercises and a field trip to a local credit union, kids learn how to be responsible for their own financial futures.  Camp Millionaire will be held June 18-22, 2018.

 Shooting Camp

​​Shooting Education Camp is designed for boys and girls ages 9-17 with an interest in competitive shooting. Firearms are provided and all instructors are certified through 4-H, the National Rifle Association (NRA) and other national organizations. Campers will learn shooting safety, fundamentals and theories, marksmanship and competitive shooting. Each participant should have their own ear and eye protection, water and back pack or other carrying case for equipment.  This camp will be held in June 2018 at the Airfield 4-H Center, Wakefield, VA.

 VB 4-H Jr. Camp

2018 Virginia Beach 4-H Junior Camp is scheduled for July 30 - August 3, 2018.  Registration for campers and counselors is open now.  

​​Virginia Beach's 4-H Junior Camp is a residential experience for boys and girls ages 9-13. Held at the Airfield 4-H Center in Wakefield, VA, a 285-acre property with climate-controlled lodges, a lake, and trained counselors, this five-day experience will help kids build a variety of skills and lasting memories.

  • Cost: $330.00 (fee includes T-shirt, meals, lodging, special activities, programs and transportation)
