Virginia Beach Comprehensive Plan Update - Get Involved!
Every five years, Virginia Beach takes a new look at its long-tern plan for growth and development. It's called the Comprehensive Plan, "It's Our Future," and we need your input.
At open houses across the city-hosted by the City Council and Planning Commission - we will talk with you about issues like land use, transportation, preserving neighborhoods, the environment, economic development, and parks and open spaces.
Please join us at one of the following public open houses, held from 7 to 9 p.m.
Monday, October 20                  Wednesday October 22
Salem High School                           Pembroke Elementary School
1993 Sundevil Drive                        4622 Jericho Road
Monday, October 27                   Thursday, October 30
Floyd E. Kellam High School              Virginia Beach Convention Center

The Comprehensive Plan serves as the official land use planning policy for the City of Virginia Beach.  It is used to guide growth, protect neighborhoods, improve our economy, help manage our limited resources and, ultimately, advance the overall quality of life for citizens.
