Public Meeting on Virginia Beach Housing Study

August 10, 2016, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Virginia Beach Convention Center
1000 19th Street, Virginia Beach
The City is seeking input for a study that will examine residents’ challenges and concerns related to housing. Results will be used to guide city policy and funding for housing and neighborhood preservation programs. Researchers from the Virginia Center for Housing Research at Virginia Tech and czb, LLC, a neighborhood planning firm, want to know things like what do you like about where you live? What housing-related challenges does your community face? Is transportation an issue? Is there a lack of affordable homes? What do you think are the underlying causes of these challenges and what types of solutions do you think might help?

The meeting will take place at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, Room 2 A-B.

To attend, register by Aug. 9 with Natasha Wise at (757) 385-5837 or Space is limited.
