Accident Potential Zone-1 / Clear Zone Master Plan

This master plan, prepared by direction of the City's Oceana Land Use Conformity Committee, has been adopted by the City Council as a part of the City's Comprehensive Plan. It is intended to provide land use policy guidance regarding the future use of property located in the Accident Potential Zone-1 and Clear Zones around Naval Air Station Oceana. It also provides community design guidance and other useful information covering a number of related topics. The intended users of this master plan are the:

•  Citizens of Virginia Beach, especially property owners in the APZ-1 and Clear Zones
•  Business community
•  United States Navy
•  Elected and other officials at the local, state and federal levels.
