During a city emergency where will you be? Will you know what to do? VBCERT offers citizens the opportunity to assist their communities in times of emergency. With the participation of citizens, this program provides the community with a cadre of trained responders who will assess damage, perform light search and rescue, first aid and triage. Members are activated and deployed, at the neighborhood level, during major emergencies in the case that normal emergency services are overwhelmed or unable to respond.
