Need a little incentive to get back to recreation? How’s this: Virginia Beach adults and seniors can obtain a 12-month recreation center membership for 10% off the regular price if purchased by November 30, 2009. During this time, the special reduced rates are:

• $59 for an adult resident 12-month membership; or
• $47 for a senior resident 12-month membership.

Those who take advantage of this special rate will be entered into a drawing to win one of several prizes (3 winners will be randomly selected each month):

• 2-person personal training session (includes a visitor pass for a guest);
• 1-person personal training session $18 punch card for group fitness classes; or
• 2 private adult swim lessons.

Membership plans for youth and for those who live outside of Virginia Beach are also available. And don’t forget: Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation has no joining fees and there are no monthly fees. We’ve also installed the latest state-of-the-art fitness equipment in many of our recreation centers, with more coming!
