eCheck is an online payment service that allows you to pay your Virginia Beach combined services statement (Public Utilities and Storm Water combined statement - THESE BILL START WITH 000) using your personal checking account. (Credit cards are not accepted at this time.) Please do not pay any other type of bill through this service. All payments made here are appli ed to your water/storm water account. This service is a secure, convenient and fast way to pay your water and sanitary sewer bill. There is no additional fee for using this service and it will save you the cost of a check and stamp.

eCheck cannot answer any of your questions concerning your water bill. In that case please contact water@vbgov.com or by calling 757-385-4631 or 1-866-697-3481. Thank you.

If your bill is due within three (3) business days, do not use the eCheck payment service. Using this service within three (3) business days of your due date could result in an interruption of service. Please bring your bill to one of the City Treasurer's four convenient locations.

Your transaction will be processed by the City of Virginia Beach in association with Bank of America. After accepting the terms of use below, you will be re-directed to our Bank of America partner Web site to conduct your secure online transaction. You will need to have your combined water/storm water bill and your checkbook available in order to complete the transaction.

DISCLAIMER:
By using the eCheck payment service, I authorize the City of Virginia Beach’s Treasurer's Office to withdraw funds from the Financial Institution account that I have provided to pay the City of Virginia Beach for charges billed to my water and sanitary sewer account. Furthermore, I affirm and attest to the fact that I am authorized to make withdrawals from this Financial Institution account. I understand and agree that the City of Virginia Beach is not liable for any mistake or failure of the Financial Institution to pay over any funds to the City of Virginia Beach, Virginia. I also realize that any failure by the Financial Institution to pay my water and sanitary sewer bill through this eCheck payment service does not relieve me from the responsibility for payment of my water and sanitary sewer bills. I also agree that a returned check fee of $35.00 will apply if the Financial Institution fails to honor or later voids an eCheck payment transaction and that I may not be allowed to use this service for one (1) year.
