Where do you reside in Virginia Beach?

I live in the Summer Set Lake community, off Witchduck Road.

How long have you been a Virginia Beach resident?

My family moved to Princess Anne County in 1955 (later became the larger city of Virginia Beach) and have lived here ever since (except while in the service).

What brought you to Virginia Beach?
My mom and dad in a 1952 Ford Ranch Wagon.

What’s your favorite thing to do in Virginia Beach?

Where does one start? There is so much to do  - walking on the beach during the winter months; going to ‘pick-it-yourself’ farms and loading up on fresh berries; reading about the wonderful and varied history of the area; visiting the Virginia Beach Aquarium; showing visitors around and ‘brag’ about Virginia Beach.

What’s special about Virginia Beach?

Again, there is so much special about Virginia Beach one can hardly know where to start. How about simply living in a City others wait all year to be able to visit for a week or two – a true ‘destination’ city; living in a City that is new, bright and moving forward in a positive way.

Why did you want to be a Voice of Virginia Beach?
Having lived in Virginia Beach for some 54 years and working in Virginia Beach for almost 20 years (not quite, but getting close) I wanted to be able to tell anyone and everyone what a wonderful place Virginia Beach is. I brag about my hometown every chance I get and hope now, as a Voice of Virginia Beach, to be able to reach out and tell more folks about the wonderful place called Virginia Beach.
