On May 16, 2003, Chief Jacocks unveiled the Virginia Beach Police Department’s Wall of Honor - a permanent memorial to all Department members who have been killed in the line of duty. This tribute, dedicated to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, is located in the lobby of the Virginia Beach Law Enforcement Training Academy, 411 Integrity Way, in Virginia Beach.

All too often, we fail to take time out of our busy schedules to recognize the commitment to service and dedication to duty of those employees deserving of such recognition.
