This web site provides access to a growing collection of electronic Virginia Beach/Princess Anne County archival collections and information including:

The site also provides links to local, state and national genealogy societies, major genealogical web sites and genealogical charts and forms.

Library staff will assist researchers in developing research strategies to learn about their families and discover local history.  Complimenting the web site is the Virginia Beach Public Library's collection of genealogical books and electronic resources  at the Central Library, maps, microfilm, videotapes, and audio tapes spread throughout the library system.
