Need to check the status of a permit? This searchable database includes building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire, gas, elevator and special event permits.
You can query for your permit in four ways: by Permit Number, Address, GPIN (Geographic Property Identification Number), or Contractor Name. The query feature supports partial searches as well.
To start, read the terms of use below and click "I Agree." Enter your complete permit number and click "Search." To conduct a complete or partial search on permit number, address, GPIN, or contractor, click the respective link in the left navigation bar. Once you have found your permit, select it and click "Permit" at the bottom.
In order to perform routine maintenance, the system will not be available during the following hours:
Tuesday - Saturday (midnight - 1 a.m. EST)
Sunday (5 p.m. - 9 p.m. EST)
