Virginia Beach National Tourism Week Hospitality Awards

The 21st Annual National Tourism Week Hospitality Awards Luncheon will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010, at the Virginia Beach Convention Center, 1000 19th Street.  Please take time now to nominate the front-line employees/volunteers in your operations who consistently offer “outstanding service” to the customers who support your hospitality business. 

If you need assistance in completing or submitting your nominations, please contact Elizabeth Dyer at (757) 385-6646 or edyer@vbgov.com.  Completed Hotel/Motel nomination forms may be submitted to Deborah Buringa at the Virginia Beach Hotel Motel Association (dburinga@vbhma.com or fax to 757-425-3760).  All other categories should be submitted directly to the Virginia Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau.

If you have an employee who has been nominated in the past but has not received a top award in their professional category, you may nominate them again.  All nominated employees will be invited to the luncheon as guests of the Virginia Beach CVB.  The nominee’s lunch is complimentary; additional lunches for supervisors, family, guests, co-workers or friends will be $15.00 each.  Invitations will be mailed to nominees and those who submitted the nomination. 

Nominations are due no later than close of business Friday, March 5.
