Responsibility:

The City of Virginia Beach Human Resources Department administers various programs to leverage our human capital by enhancing the work environment through traditional and non-traditional methods of selection, training, compensation and benefits, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), employee relations, and occupational health and safety management. Programs and services are provided to a workforce of full and part time employees, who are primarily responsible for providing government services to our citizens.
