Beach Rec Centers and Libraries to Close at 7 Tonight, March 5
and Facilities to Remain Closed Until at Least 10 a.m. Friday
Due to the pending storm, all City of

Virginia Aquarium. City leaders will assess conditions early tomorrow morning
to determine whether to further delay the openings.
Waste and recycling collections are still scheduled for tomorrow, March 6, as soon as weather condtions permit. Crews will begin Friday collections and any collections not completed on Friday will be completed on Saturday.
Alpha I employees should
contact their supervisor for reporting responsibilities. Alpha II employees
should report at 10 a.m. Friday or at the scheduled time thereafter. Based on
individual circumstances, employees may request leave approval from their supervisors
for the remainder of the day Friday.
