The Virginia Beach Human Services Department is now accepting registrations for the fall Bank On Virginia Beach classes:
· Begins Sept. 12 and meets the second Thursday of each month,6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Human Services Department, 3432 Virginia Beach Blvd.
· Begins Sept. 14 and meets the second Saturday of each month, 9:30 to 11a.m. at Grace Tabernacle Church, 5295 Greenwich Road, Suite 109
· Begins Sept. 19 and meets the third Thursday of each month, 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Twin Canal Community Center,1484 Drawbridge Circle
· Begins Sept. 24 and meets the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Good Samaritan Episcopal Church, 848 Baker Road
Each class meets for 10 months and covers topics ranging from basic banking to money management and improving your credit. Participants will be introduced to the Mayor’s 500 Families Financially Fit for the Future Challenge and offered the opportunity to work one on one with a financial coach. All classes are free and open to the public.
