Bank On Virginia Beach is now offering a choice of daytime, evening or weekend classes. Each series of classes covers topics ranging from basic banking to sophisticated money management skills. Classes meet once a month for 10 months. Participants will be offered the option to join the Mayor’s Action Challenge for 500 Families Financially Fit for the Future.

Starts April 3 and meets each first Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
- Turning Point Church, 2641 Princess Anne Road
Starts April 9 and meets each second Tuesday from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
- Samaritan House, 2620 Southern Blvd.
Starts April 19 and meets each third Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
- Williams Farms Recreational Center, 5252 Learning Circle
Starts April 20 and meets each third Saturday from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
- Twin Canal Community Center, 1484 Drawbridge Circle
Starts April 25 and meets each fourth Thursday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Bank On Virginia Beach is a partnership of participating banks, credit unions, community organizations, and the City of Virginia Beach. It’s designed to connect unbanked and under-banked families to free or low-cost bank accounts and to help them take steps toward financial freedom.
