Centerville Strategic Growth Area Vision Drafted

On Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m., the public is invited to a meeting at Tallwood High School located at 1668 Kempsville Road for the third and final phase of the Centerville Strategic Growth Area (SGA) master planning process.

The public meeting will begin with a presentation of the initial draft of the long-range plan for the Centerville SGA. Following the presentation, subject matter experts will be available to answer questions and receive your comments on the initial draft of the plan. These comments will then be summarized to identify the preferred development alternatives for the Centerville SGA, which will be shown in the final draft of the plan. Please join us for this important meeting to continue to provide your input and ideas and help shape the future of the Centerville SGA.
 
The draft plan will be available for review at www.VBgov.com/centervilleplan as well as at the Kempsville and Central Libraries and the Virginia Beach Planning Department. Comments on the initial draft plan must be received by Wednesday, Oct. 3 in order to be considered for the final draft of the plan. Comments may be submitted at the Sept. 25 public meeting, sent via email to compplan@vbgov.com, or mailed to Ashby Moss at the Virginia Beach Planning Department, 2405 Courthouse Drive, Virginia Beach, VA  23456.
