The Sandler Center for the Performing Arts is excited to announce the fourth-annual “Ynot Wednesdays?” Summer Nights at Town Center Concert Series. Over the 13-week concert series, local and regional bands will perform on the Sandler Center Outdoor Plaza every Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. This year’s scheduled performers feature popular local and regional bands with genres ranging from Motown to Classic Rock to Reggae Music. Over 19,000 residents, professionals, and visitors attended the 2011 concert series throughout the summer to make “Ynot Wednesdays?” the premier summer concert series in Hampton Roads.
For a third straight year, the Virginia Beach Farmers Market will be a part of the “Ynot Wednesdays?” series as local farmers set up their fresh fruits, vegetables and other homegrown items on the Plaza. Ynot Pizza will be on hand every week with local area vendors to provide pizza, cheese steaks and more! Local vendors and some of the most popular radio stations will join us on the Plaza with games, giveaways and fun for the entire family.
Proceeds from the sale of beverages and VIP tables will benefit the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts Foundation and its innovative ACCESS the ARTS program that seeks to support arts education and enhance the programming at the Sandler Center.
