Virginia Beach Electoral Board Appoints General Registrar

The Virginia Beach Electoral Board has appointed Ms. Donna Patterson as the General Registrar for the City of Virginia Beach. Ms. Patterson, whose term ends June 30, 2015, began on April 1, 2012.
Ms. Patterson is the former Deputy Registrar of Arlington County, Virginia. She served for nine years as the Arlington County Deputy Registrar. Prior to that, she was the associate director of moderator services in the Education Department of The American College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She was also employed with Computer Science Corporation as a curriculum development specialist, and as training manager in the marketing department of Online Resources & Communications Corporation.
Ms. Patterson received a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Science degree in management from National-Louis University.
