Sanitary Sewer Work to Affect Westbound Traffic Along Northampton Boulevard

Beginning Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 9 p.m., traffic will be reduced from four lanes to two while the Department of Public Utilities makes preparations to install a new sewer valve in the westbound lanes of Northampton Boulevard, between Burton Station Road and the Norfolk city line. The closure will be in effect nightly, between 9 p.m. and 4:30 a.m., on Feb. 8 and 9.  Warning signs will be posted advising motorists of the construction.
