Traffic at Rosemont Road and Holland Road Intersection to be Affected by Water Main Repair

Starting at 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, Tidewater Utilities Construction Inc., under contract with the Department of Public Utilities, will begin replacing a defective water pipe at the intersection of Rosemont Road and Holland Road.  During repairs, motorists will experience the following changes in traffic patterns:

• The eastbound lanes of Holland Road at Rosemont Road will be reduced to one lane for through traffic.
• The westbound left turn lane on Holland Road will be closed.

The project will take place nightly between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., and signs will be posted directing motorists around the work site.  Repairs are expected to be completed by Feb. 17, weather permitting.  For more information, contact Belinda Wilson with Virginia Beach Public Utilities at (757) 385-4894.
