City to Host Public Meeting for Burton Station Village Project Update

A public meeting to discuss the Burton Station Village project will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Strategic Growth Area Office, 222 Central Park Ave., Suite 1050, in Town Center. There will be updates and an opportunity for concerns to be addressed. Burton Station is one of eight Strategic Growth Areas being planned by the city.
Phase I infrastructure plans are substantially complete and property acquisition activities are under way for the additional right-of-way and easements necessary for construction of the utility and roadway improvements. Phases II and III infrastructure improvements are fully funded for design and construction and preliminary engineering work has begun.
The meeting is open to the public.
