City of Virginia Beach Holiday Schedule for Veterans Day, Friday, Nov. 11

The following Virginia Beach facilities will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day:

• All City of Virginia Beach offices
• All Virginia Beach City Public Schools and administration offices
• All Virginia Beach community recreation centers
• All city parks and park facilities, except for Lynnhaven Boat Ramp and Beach Facility, Woodstock Park and Mount Trashmore Park. The hours of operation for those facilities will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• All Virginia Beach public libraries
• Chesapeake Bay Center at First Landing State Park
• Francis Land House, Union Kempsville Museum, Lynnhaven House and Adam Thoroughgood House
• Virginia Beach Circuit Court, General District Court, Juvenile & Domestic Relations  Court and Clerk’s Offices, and the Juvenile Court Services Unit (Juvenile Probation & Parole)
• Virginia Beach Convention Center administrative offices
• Virginia Beach Landfill
• Virginia Beach Public Health Department
• Visitor Center located on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel
• Visitor Information Center

The following facilities will be open during the following hours: 

• All city-owned golf courses, including Bow Creek, Kempsville Greens and Red Wing Lake, will be open from dawn to dusk.
• Lynnhaven Boat Ramp and Beach Facility, Woodstock Park and Mount Trashmore Park will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Owl Creek Tennis Center (South courts will be open during daylight hours only;
• Pro Shop and restrooms will be closed)
• Sandler Center for the Performing Arts box office and administrative offices from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
• Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Virginia Beach Animal Care and Adoption Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Virginia Beach Farmers Market will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
