City Clerk Accepting Applications for City Council Vacancy

The City Council will have a vacant at-large seat as of June 18, due to the resignation of Rita Sweet Bellitto. The council will appoint a temporary successor until the November election.

Interested citizens who are registered voters may submit these items on or before June 23:

• A letter stating interest in serving on the City Council
• A statement of qualifications
• A recent photo
• A completed questionnaire, available at www.VBgov.com/hottopics under “City Council Vacancy”
